IMO
30 & 40, Crankcase engine oils are manufactured from highly
refined petroleum mineral oils and contains selective detergent
additive along with antiwear agent and antioxidants. These oils
essentially meets API specifications SC/CC, US military MIL-L-2104B
specifications. It also meets IS-496-1982 HD Type 3 requirements.
IMO
20W/40 is a multigrade engine oil having high Viscosity Index detergent
level & excellent oxidation stability. They provide easy start
in cold conditions. The multigrade engine oil provide expected oil
drain period and reduces oil consumption to considerable extent.
It offers fuel economy. Essentially meets the requirement
of MIL-L-2104B and IS-496 HD Type 3 requirements.
The
oil is recommended for naturally aspirated diesel engines operating
under severe duty and also for super/ Turbo charged diesel engine.

DIESEL
STAR grades are a heavy duty diesel engine oil meeting the requirement
of API CD, MIL-L-2104C, IS-496 1982 HD Type 5 requirements. DIESEL
STAR 20W/40 is a high viscosity index oil having excellent detergent
inhibition, good antiwear and antioxident property. The oil
is used in diesel engine, where long drain period is required.
Used
as lubricant for naturally aspirated as well as in turbo charged
/ super charged heavy diesel trucks and passenger bus. They are
also recommended for power generating diesel sets on HSD & LDO.
