ICCONOL
SOLCUT is a general purpose emulsifiable oil. These can be mixed
readily with water in various proportions forming stable emulsions
or mixtures with soft water or of water of 500 ppm hardness. The
emulsion provides maximum cooling during metal cutting or grinding,
load carrying capacity and rust prevention. The oil gives milky
emulsion. It is used in 5% concentration for metal cutting (Both
ferrous and non-ferrous metals) for grinding 1 to 2% concentration
may be used. |
